1. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Navik (General Duty): 12th pass with Mathematics and Physics from a recognized board.

  • Navik (Domestic Branch): 10th pass from a recognized board.

3. Selection Process

The recruitment process is divided into 4 stages:

Stage 1: Computer-Based Online Exam

  • Navik (GD): Maths, Science, English, Reasoning, General Knowledge (12th-level questions).

  • Navik (DB): Maths, Science, English, Reasoning, General Knowledge (10th-level questions).

  • No negative marking.

Stage 2: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Document Verification

  • 1.6 km run in 7 minutes.

  • 20 squat-ups (Uthak Baithak).

  • 10 push-ups.

Stage 3: Medical Examination at INS Chilka

  • Height: Minimum 157 cm.

  • Chest Expansion: Minimum 5 cm.

  • Hearing & Vision: Normal.

  • Tattoo Policy: Permanent tattoos are not allowed except for specific tribal groups.

Stage 4: Training

Selected candidates will undergo training at INS Chilka starting September 2025.
